080A15      Technical Data 080A15 is a low carbon steel, giving reasonable strenght and toughness. Components when made in080A15 can be case hardened to give a core strength range of 430-490 N/mm2 , with a hard wearing surface.  TYPICAL ANALYSIS 080M15 C. Si Mn. 0.15% 0.25% 0.80% Heat Treatment: Blank carburise the 080A15 tool at a temperature between 880°C and 930°C. Refine at a temperature of 970°C to 900°C, cool in air oil or water. Harden in water from 760°C to 780°C.
