 Technical Data

A heat resisting stainless steel with high resistance to oxidation scaling and has high strength at elevated temperatures.  This is combined with better creep properties at temperature and is very tough and ductile.

Scaling:
The Scaling temperature is the temperature at which the oxidation speed in size corresponds to a metal loss off 0.1mm during the first year of oxidation in still air. In an oxidising and reducing sulphurous atmosphere the scaling temperature is lowered.
