UNS S32760, F55, 1.4501 Super Duplex has enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared with the ordinary austenitic or duplex types. This is due to the further additions of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen to these grades. UNS S32760, F55, 1.4501 combines high strength and good ductility with outstanding corrosion resistance. With UNS S32760, F55, 1.4501 having these attribute it is used in a wide range of marine, oil and gas environments. UNS S32760, F55, 1.4501 is the most common super duplex grade.
